Member Billy Davis Passes Away
Retired I.B.E.W. Local 104 member William “Billy” Davis died July 5.
The 69-year-old Raymond, N.H., resident was tragically killed after his
truck left Route 102 and struck a tree. Police said a preliminary
investigation indicates a pre-existing condition may have contributed to the accident.
Billy was born on March 30, 1940, in Brentwood, the son George E. and Althea Davis. A lifelong resident of Raymond, he was employed for more than 50 years as a journeyman lineman with Local 104 before retiring last year.
He was a skilled and hardworking man who was a great teacher of his trade.
Billy enjoyed entertaining others by singing and playing guitar. He had played drums for the Raymond Drum and Bugle Corps.
Billy was predeceased by a daughter, Melissa Lussier, in 2007. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sally A. Davis; four sons, Donald C. Davis, Ronald K. Davis, William E. Davis Jr. and Richard A. Davis; and two daughters, Wanda R. Pelkey and Jennifer J. Smith of Alstead; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are Thursday, July 9, from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond. The funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Life Assembly of God Church, 84 Nottingham Road, Raymond.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal St., Manchester 03101.
